This website was created as part of the 2021 UMBC Interdisciplinary CoLab Radical Literature Project in collaboration with the Albin O. Kuhn Library’s Special Collections.

CoLab is a collaboration between the Provost’s Interdisciplinary Activities Advisory Committee, the Dresher Center for the Humanities, and Summer/Winter Programs. UMBC Interdisciplinary CoLab invites undergraduate students to work together in small teams with a faculty or staff Project Leader to learn and apply methods of research and analysis. CoLab is a three-credit paid internship opportunity for students to engage in narrative-based research where they are encouraged to use their interdisciplinary backgrounds to create innovative, public-facing final projects.

Our interdisciplinary team included Gabe Brunal (B.S. in Information Systems, ‘22), Avnee Sharma (B.A. in Biology and Anthropology, Minor in Public Humanities, Certificate in Social Dimensions of Health, ‘23), and Sarah Nove (B.A. in English, ‘24).
